Getting Started
Good quality flight instruction should be your number one priority. You can expect to receive the instruction needed to fly proficiently and safely whether it be helicopter training, gyroplane training, or airplane training . Training 1 to 2 hours daily for a period of 3-5 consecutive days achieves more effective results at less cost than spreading the training over a longer period of time.
The Federal Aviation Administration establishes the following minimum requirements for a private pilot certificate:
Total Hours: 40
Dual Hours: 20
Solo: 10
It is not possible to specify the training time requirements for a specific certificate. Training times vary depending on each student's ability.
